COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

NOTEStudents must keep in mind that many states have their own unique set of requirements for regulating Private Security professionals.  For example, the State of Maryland does not mandate or regulate training for Executive Protection, whereas the Commonwealth of Virginia has very regulated criteria for obtaining a Personal Protection Specialist registration in order to work on Executive Protection assignments.  Gray Wolf EP Training Academy provides the specific curricula to address the requirements for the State of Maryland Police Licensing Division and the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).  In addition, Gray Wolf EP Training Academy offers very specialized courses to advance any security professional's career; however, Gray Wolf recommends that all students check their state's statutes to see what specific (if any) requirements are necessary to obtain licensure to work in their particular security-related field.

Virginia Security Courses: 

Successful completion of the following courses allows you to send your registration application to Virginia’s Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).  Once your application is processed, DCJS issues you a registration identification card that allows you to work as a PI, Executive Protection agent (Personal Protection Specialist), or Security Officer in Virginia, or to carry the firearms associated with the course you successfully completed.  These courses can also be used to fulfill requirements for the Maryland State Police in order to obtain licensure in the state of Maryland.
