Gray
Wolf’s Leadership Team
Sammy Johns, Jr. – Chief Executive Officer
Over
the past few years, a number of professionals have asked,
“Sammy, when are you going to open your own business?”
The need has never been greater for a security company to
have a strong moral compass guided by integrity and commitment.
With over 40 years of combined Law Enforcement, Executive
Protection, and Investigative experience, Sammy Johns, Jr.
continues to be one of the most respected professionals
in private security.
In
addition to his field experience, Sammy is certified by
John E. Reid and Associates in the Reid Technique of Interviewing
and Interrogation. Also, Sammy taught Executive Protection,
Private Investigations, and Armed Security. Many of his
students have earned very successful careers as Personal
Protection Specialists (PPSs), Investigators, and Federal
employees.
Why
“Gray Wolf ?"

Pat
Director of Executive Protection (EP) and Investigations
Pat
began his career in public service and security 30 years
ago; he began in the U.S. Navy and then became a valuable
member of the Washington, D.C. Fire Department and Search/Rescue
Team, where he received the prestigious Commendation for
Valor. Pat’s time as a Fireman provided a strong foundation
on which to pursue his career as an Executive Protection
Specialist for our government.
Pat’s
responsibilities have included protecting the Secretary
of State, Mr. Colin L. Powell, other prominent government
officials, and foreign dignitaries. As a Supervisor with
an SCI clearance, Pat has received a number of Special Commendations
for his service and performance at the United Nations Assembly
and the U.S. Capitol Building.

Mary
Director, Investigative Administrator
After college, Mary worked for several years
at a lobbying organization, coordinating events with U.S.
congressmen and senators, and providing additional support
to the Office of Public Liaison for the White House. A few
years after the birth of her first child, Mary went back
to work as a contracted technical editor for the Navy and
eventually worked her way up to managing the industrial
security for the Navy’s Tactical Technologies Development
Laboratory. Later she was recruited to manage the Quality
Assurance Department for a contracting facility and handle
security-related documentation for the Navy’s Strategic
Systems Programs. In addition to her corporate security
background, Mary completed training as a private investigator
in 1995.
Given
the volatile emotions involved with domestic cases or workplace
grievances, Mary understands that when a client is compelled
to call on an investigator for help, the client is involved
in a painful experience. Mary will always ensure that Gray
Wolf’s clients are well taken care of by compassionate,
resourceful, and experienced investigators.
